This poster design was selected for Best Print Design
Problem/Need
A poster and web banner were required to promote a co-branded Graphic Designers of Canada (GDC) and Winnipeg Design Festival (WFD) event.
 Strategy/Methodology
Both the GDC and the WDF had bold and somewhat clashing brand colours (red and magenta).

Solution/Contribution
Using the two brand colours as a gradient, the two different brands were unified in an elegant way. The gradient worked well with the dark floral photography in the background and the bold type was cut out of the gradient shape to showcase more of the photograph in an interesting way.
