During my previous life as a corporate in-house designer, I worked on a number of environmental design projects for our large corporate events and conferences. From the planning and project management phase to the design, art direction and production, I worked on all aspects of these display pieces.
I loved the entire process, including reviewing floor plans and photos of the venue and working collaboratively on where and how we could help attendees find their way in a new place. Sometimes we'd use floor decals or window decals, sometimes it would be a free-standing tower or a simple gator-board sign on an easel.
A huge part of the excitement for me was seeing it all come to life, which I was lucky to see as the corporate photographer!

One of my favourite projects to art direct. I worked with two very talented designers who had hand-lettering and chalkboard skills!

My design and art direction won an Award of Merit with the RGD In-House Awards.

A sample of the flat design used for a volunteer celebration. Photos were supplied, so a duotone was used to unify the display.

This display was conceptualized and designed by me, with help from my production manager to print and install in a 3-story atrium.

These profile towers included project management to schedule photographers across Canada.

I worked with a writer to interview each of these Financial Consultants, as well as photographers across the country.

Seeing the finished product in real life was pretty amazing!
This project had a 6-week schedule to confirm the Financial Consultants, find and brief photographers, interview, write, translate, design, produce and install. What a whirlwind!
These towers were used to profile some of the top achievers and inspire others at a large Financial Services conference.

These stage banners were used as a teaser to show which Region Office would win the coveted "President's Cup". There were vinyl snipes applied to the banners, which were revealed to show the 6 finalists.
